Call For Papers

OCP Policy Center and Al Akhawayn University, invite the submission of papers analyzing the role of power in building and fostering stability and security in Africa.

Papers can deal with a broad based variety of topics related to this theme, such as:
1/ Theoretical and conceptual analysis of power relations in or with African states; 2/ The BRICS and soft power tools in Africa; 3/ Uses of power in African foreign policies. Focus can be on either hard or soft power, or in the mix of both; 4/ Regional and international actions including soft and/or hard power tools, to fight radicalism in Africa; 5/ Conflict resolution in Africa (case studies and general perspectives); 6/ Force of persuasion and power in Africa, what is at stake? What are the key resources used for this purpose?; 7/ Continental and regional African institutions’ use of power and policy outcomes; 8/ State-building and the role of power; 9/ Food power and security in Africa…
