Méthodes mathématiques avancées pour l’analyse économique

Le présent livre présente un ensemble d’outils et de notions mathématiques communément utilisés en économie appliquée. Il commence par rappeler les notions d’algèbre matricielle, et enchaîne avec l’étude des systèmes linéaires d’équations et les transformations de matrices, pour traiter de la décomposition des matrices, devenue un outil couramment utilisé en économétrie des séries chronologiques et des données de panel. Significant upside in world economic growth is possible on account of building momentum against a background of low capacity utilization, but even greater downside is possible on account of inconsistent economic policy in the Unites States, Chinese imbalances, and the threat of protectionism...


Our Senior Fellow Uri Dadush represented OCP Policy Center at the event Trade backlash and the World Trade Organization organized by The Brookings Institution on May 10, 2017. Experts discussed how the World trade Organization (WTO) should adjust regarding the challenges that is facing: the expanding role of emerging economies and how to confront the rising tide of populism in the Western world. Mr. Dadush focused mainly on the effect of the Brexit on the European Union, The US policy towars the WTO, the role of developing countries in the WTO, etc. 

Public Policy School

The objectives of the course are to understand how fiscal policy is linked to the rest of the economy and to the rest of the world, discuss the role of fiscal policy in attaining the key objectives of the government: macro-stability, equity and efficiency and sustainable long -term growth, use the tools and techniques to assess the fiscal stance, fiscal multipliers and debt sustainabilit, and review the key elements of tax and expenditure policy as well as budget planning: concepts and best practices.
